When you wish upon a star…
In 2008, I traveled to Disney to meet the Collectable Merchandise Manager to discuss becoming a Disney artist. After a positive meeting I carried my original painting to the Disney Springs Art of Disney and shyly asked if I could hang Pooh’s House for a one minute photo-op and what it might feel like once contracts were signed.
That day, Pooh’s House had its very first appearance in the Disney Art gallery. I understand the gallery was impressed with the art and still speak of that unusual request today.
Perseverance, hard work and believing in my dream is my M.O. Have a vision (preferable tangible as in a photo or vision board), set goals and something WILL happen.
