Artifx Studio

My professional career started at age 15, when I became a caricature artist at Six Flags Over Texas. By 18, I was illustrating for ad agencies across North Texas.

My creative career climbed steadily through specialty advertising and advertising. In 1988 I produced my first National Advertising campaign with Tyson Foods (Looney Tunes) and the Warner Brother characters.  This began an enviable client list of National products and ad agencies around the country.

In 1994 I opened the doors to Artifx Studio Inc and by 1999, Artifx had six illustrators creating art and making it hard to go into any type of store and not find Artifx somewhere on some of advertising or packaging.

In 2023, I will celebrate 45 continuous years as a professional artist as well as 15 years as Disney Fine Artist.

Some Artifx illustrations created over the years.

We’ve got to create the NFL official Christmas card.  That was awesome!

The Disney Adventure

2007 was my introduction year to advertising graphics for the Disney parks around the world.  A successful and prolific five-year relationship with a production of no less than 98 illustrations for the Disney Parks, Disney Vacation Club and Disney Cruise Line.

Amongst all those illustrations, here are some of the most notable:

  • In 2009, 2010 and 2011, Disney Design Group asked me to illustrate the dated logo for the Disney Parks.
  • From 2008 to 2012, I created the illustrations for the Disney shopping bags and boxes representing the Mickey with balloons.
  • In 2010 and 2011, I created the posters for the Star Wars Weekends.
  • The Mickey Pin Trading logo which we can still see today in the parks.

I am sharing some of them below.

This illustration below has been showing in Disney World on Buena Vista Drive billboard for several years.  Do you remember seeing it on your way to the parks?

It has been and still continue to be a real pleasure to see my artwork all around the parks.

Buzz and Woody have been the very last digital illustrations I have created before moving into Fine Art paintings.
